PURPOSE:To facilitate the work of connecting the main body of a ventilating air-conditioning unit with ducts to individual rooms and also to enhance the secureness of the connection. CONSTITUTION:The main body 1 has an orifice 3 in the side plate 2 on the side of the outlet. An adapter 4 having an orifice 5 corresponding to and for forming a through hole with the orifice 3 in the main body is fixed to the side plate 2 of the main body. In the inner side of the cylindrical part 7 of the adapter 4 a piece 8 is cut as a means which, by being raised when a duct 9 is inserted, holds it from slipping out of place so that a duct 9 when forced into the cylindrical part 7 is caught by the raised piece 8 and temporarily held in place. After this temporary seizure, an adhesive tape 10 is wound on the cylindrical part 7 and the duct 9 circumferentially and continuously from one to the other. |
