PURPOSE:To freely exchange data between processing elements, to shorten time required for the data exchange and to reduce the number of communication connectors to the processing elements or the number of terminals. CONSTITUTION:This device is composed of an N pieces of shifter constitutive elements 10 equipped with input ports 11 and output ports 12, and each shifter constitutive element 10 is equipped with (N/2)+1 registers 13. Then, these respective registers 13 are connected to the registers 13 in the other N-1 shifter constitutive elements 10. When an input data composed of a transfer data and a destination data is inputted to the input port 11 and a selector 14 judges it according to this destination data that the register 13 connected to the selector itself is connected to the register 13 of the shifter constitutive element 10 at the transfer destination, this transfer data is inputted to the register 13 connected to the selector itself and next, the selector 14 of the shifter constitutive element 10 at the transfer destination inputs the transfer data to the register 13 connected to the selector itself according to the destination data. Afterwards, the register 13 inputted this transfer data outputs this transfer data to the output port. |
