PURPOSE: To prevent the abrupt extension of a plug into a body cavity section when the plug tip completely penetrates a tissue and provide the safety of a patient by providing a trocar tube or a cannula having an opened terminal and a root side end section with an opened flange. CONSTITUTION: When pressure is applied to a plug handhold 26, a spring 30 in the plug handhold is compressed. When the spring 30 is compressed, a plug tip 28 is extended beyond the bullet-like front end of a shield body through a groove 36. When force is further applied to the handhold 26, a trocar cannula 10 compresses a spring 18, and the plug tip 28 starts to be extended to the outside from the terminal 12 of the trocar cannula 10. The extended plug tip 28 bores a tissue at the terminal of the trocar cannula 10 until it breaks the tissue inner face. When the plug tip 28 breaks the tissue inner face, the resistance at the terminal of a trocar is eliminated, and the spring 18 can be advanced around the plug tip 28 of the trocar cannula 10. When a plug and the plug handhold 26 are extracted from the trocar cannula 10, the shield body continuously protects the plug tip 28. |
