PURPOSE:To obtain a pharmaceutical composition, containing 13,14-dihydro-15- keto-prostaglandins and a cholinergic agent as active ingredients, having excellent intraocular hypotensive action and reduced in side effects. CONSTITUTION:A pharmaceutical composition is obtained by including (A) 13,14-dihydro-15-keto-prostaglandins or their salts and esters thereof and (B) a cholinergic agent as active ingredients. The ingredients are blended in the following amounts. 0.005-2wt.% ingredient (A) and 0.005-20wt.% ingredient (B) at a blending ratio of the ingredients (A) to (B) within the range of (1:10)-(1:2000). The composition is prepared into the form of a solution, an emulsion, a suspension or a get, an ophthalmic ointment, etc. The aforementioned composition is effective in treating intraocular hypertension and glaucoma. |
