PURPOSE:To manufacture a magnetic shield which can effectively shield a magnetic field by using an oxide high temperature superconductor. CONSTITUTION:Sludge or kneaded material in which an oxide high temperature superconductor material is mixed with binder, plasticizer, dispersant, solvent, etc., is molded in a sheet state by a method such as a doctor blade method, an extrusion molding method, etc., as a green sheet in which high temperature superconductor particles are oriented in a special direction. The obtained sheet is cut in a cross-sectional shape for an object magnetic shield, and degreased so as to remove the binder, etc., in a thick film molded form. The molded forms are stacked, and baked at a predetermined temperature as in a state in which the stack is pressurized to 150kg/cm<2> or higher. Since a superconducting platelike crystal is oriented in a laminating direction in the obtained magnetic shield, a limit for a current density to be induced by an applied magnetic field is large, and shielding of a high magnetic field can be performed. |
