PURPOSE:To provide a multi-room type air-conditioning machine capable of effecting operation without any degradation of cooling and heating capacity of an indoor machine installed at a high position, even when an outdoor machine is installed at a lower position and there is the difference of height between, the indoor machines, in the refrigerating cycle of the multi-room air-coinditioning machine capable of selecting cooling or heating operation freely in every indoor machines. CONSTITUTION:The title air-conditioning machine is provided with a flow passage switching mechanism 16, switching the flow directions of refrigerant in a first connecting pipeline 10 and a second connecting pipeline 11 upon cooling or heating operation. The same machine is provided with a solution pipeline 30 connecting an expansion valve 7 to a third connecting pipeline 12, a gas pipe 28 connecting a second solenoid valve 9 to the second connecting pipeline 11, and a heat exchanging means 27 effecting heat exchange between medium in the solution pipeline 30 and gas in the gas pipe 28. |
