<p>PURPOSE:To transfer information to a monitor station in the case of simultaneously generating faults at plural stations without increasing the bits for alarm transfer for a transmission line so much. CONSTITUTION:An upstream alarm signal 105 is branched from the time division multiplexed signal of the transmission line and outputted. When no own station alarm signal 104 is generated, the upstream station alarm signal 105 is transferred in a downstream direction as it is and when there is the own station alarm signal 104 generation, a multiplexed alarm signal 106 multiplexing the upstream station alarm signal 105 and the own station alarm signal 104 for the frame unit of the time division multiplexed signal is transferred in the downstream direction. Otherwise, the multiplexed alarm signal 106 is always transferred regardless of the existence of the own station alarm signal 104.</p> |
