The U-shaped defrost pipe for the compressor of refrigerator improves the condensation efficiency of refrigerant. The circulation tube (1) for refrigerant has a U-shaped bend (2a) to be housed in another U-bend tube (a) collecting and storing defrosted water and having an overflow outlet pipe (1a). The evaporated refrigerant from the compressor is cooled by the collected defrost water while passing the U-bend portion (2a) to expedite the condensation of the refrigerant to an advantage of improved efficiency for the refrigerator.
