A moulding including a moulding body having a leg portion 12 and a covering portion 13 integrally provided on and extending along an upper side of the leg portion. The moulding body is provided with a weir member 23 longitudinally fitted along a desired section thereof, e.g. a pillar section. The moulding body is formed with a groove 15 which extends along only the desired section of said moulding body. The groove may be formed on the leg portion or the covering portion. The moulding is manufactured by extruding a moulding material from a moulding opening having a desired configuration. The groove is formed by selectively projecting a grooving tool into the moulding opening during extruding the moulding material from the moulding opening.
