PURPOSE:To provide an artificial blood vessel with anti-kinking property and lower compliance. CONSTITUTION:An artificial blood vessel 1 of the present invention is provided with an artificial blood vessel body 2 and a plurality of reinforcing materials 5 for the artificial blood vessel made up of a spiral member with the number of turns of 1-3 on the circumferential surface of the artificial blood vessel body 2 as arranged to separate in an axial direction of the artificial blood vessel body 2. Since the reinforcing materials are made in a short spiral as shown by the number of turns of 1-3, anti-kinking property is applied to the artificial blood vessel body 2 mounted. Thus, with limited drop in compliance, the products thus obtained can achieve a better property of following changes in external and internal pressures. |
