PURPOSE:To eliminate picture distortion due to an external magnetic field in an operating environment subject to a deflection coil of a television receiver for each television receiver. CONSTITUTION:A horizontal deflection signal and a vertical deflection signal are generated by a horizontal synchronizing signal and a vertical synchronizing signal included in a television transmission signal and they are digitized by A/D converter circuits 6, 12. Two-dimension memory circuits 5, 11 store respectively the initial value of the digitized horizontal deflection signal and vertical deflection signal. Since a raster of the television receiver, that is, a picture causes distortion due to the effect of external magnetism of the operating environment, a data to correct the distortion is used to rewrite a relevant data of the two 2-dimension memory circuits by using a horizontal deflection correction signal 101 and a vertical deflection correction signal 102 and using an output of the A/D converter circuits 6,12 as addresses. The corrected data is converted into an analog data by D/A converter circuits 4,10 and fed to a deflection coil 15 at a desired level. |
