摘要 Composite powders comprising at least one vinyl chloride polymer or vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate copolymer powder the particles of which are coated with a mixture comprising at least two compatible antistatic agents selected from at least two different groups consisting of cationic, anionic, non-ionic and ampholytic surface active agents, may be prepared by mixing the polymer powder directly with the antistatic agents or by mixing the polymer powder with a solution of the antistatic agents in a volatile solvent, e.g. ethyl alcohol, and evaporating the solvent. Many suitable surface active agents are specified and examples describe the preparation of vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate copolymer powders coated with (1) an imidazoline type ampholytic agent and a polyoxyethylene glycol ether, (2, 4 and 5) stearamidopropyl dimethyl b -hydroxyethyl ammonium nitrate and triethanolamine dilauryl phosphate, (6) octadecyl trimethyl ammonium chloride and a betaine type ampholytic agent, (7) ethanolamine dilauryl phosphate and an imidazoline type ampholytic agent, (8) stearamidoethyl dimethyl b -hydroxyethyl ammonium chloride and a polyoxyethylene glycol alkyl phenol ether, (9) stearamido ethyl dimethyl b -hydroxyethyl ammonium nitrate and a polyoxyethylene glycol ether, and (10) alkyl trimethyl ammonium chloride and a betaine type ampholytic agent; and (3) a mixture of polyvinyl chloride and vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate copolymer powders coated with polyoxyethylene glycol alkyl ester and triethanolamine dilauryl phosphate. The compositions may also contain stabilizers, e.g. dibutyl tin dilaurate, mould release agents, e.g. stearic acid, stearyl alcohol and dodecyl alcohol, and colouring matter and may be moulded to form gramophone records.ALSO:Composite powders suitable for hot-pressing at 150 DEG -170 DEG C. into antistatic gramophone records comprise at least one vinyl chloride polymer or vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate copolymer powder the particles of which are coated with a mixture comprising at least two compatible antistatic agents selected from at least two different groups consisting of cationic, anionic, non-ionic and ampholytic surface active agents. The composite powders may be prepared by mixing, or by treating the polymer powder with a solution of the antistatic agents in a volatile solvent, e.g. ethyl alcohol. The compositions may also comprise stabilizers, e.g. dibutyl tin dilaurate, mould release agents, e.g. stearic acid, stearyl alcohol and dodecyl alcohol, and colouring matter, e.g. dyestuffs. Many suitable surface active agents are listed and examples describe compositions comprising mixtures of vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate copolymers coated with (1) an imidazoline type ampholytic agent and a polyoxyethylene glycol ether, (4 and 5) stearamidopropyldimethyl b -hydroxyethyl ammonium nitrate and triethanolamine dilauryl phosphate, (6) octadecyl trimethyl ammonium chloride and a betaine type ampholytic agent, (7) ethanolamine dilauryl phosphate and an imidazoline type ampholytic agent, (8) stearamidoethyl dimethyl b -hydroxyethyl ammonium chloride and a polyoxyethylene glycol alkyl phenol ether, (9) stearamidoethyl dimethyl b -hydroxyethyl ammonium nitrate and a polyoxyethylene glycol alkyl phenol ether and (10) alkyl trimethyl ammonium chloride and a betaine type ampholytic agent; a vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate copolymer with (2) stearamidopropyl dimethyl b -hydroxyethyl ammonium nitrate and triethanolamine dilauryl phosphate; and mixtures of polyvinyl chloride and vinyl chloridevinyl acetate copolymers with (3) polyoxyethylene glycol alkyl ester and triethanolamine dilauryl phosphate.
