The invention provides a foamed plastic pattern in two or more parts for full-mould casting, in which a groove (5) is provided in the centre of the seam contact face of one part of the pattern, extending along the contact face. A predetermined quantity of adhesive is metered into the groove in a centred manner. The quantities and dimensions and joining pressure are chosen in such a way that the parts (1, 2) of the pattern enter into direct contact at the edges of the contact faces (3, 4) and are easily squashed to seal off the groove, and the adhesive can only spread out over the contact faces within the width of the groove.
