<p>PURPOSE:To quickly respond to the switching, etc., of a feed direction by providing a torque limiter on a plate so as to be interlocked with a rotary gear provided at the capstan shaft of a capstan motor. CONSTITUTION:When a magnetic tape 2 is fed from a take-up reel board 7 to a supply reel board 6, an idler gear 17 is moved so as to be engaged with the reel board 6. Simultaneously when the reel board 6 is rotated by the idler gear 17 interlocked with the rotation of the capstan motor 10, the capstan shaft 11. a guide gear 13, a limiter gear 14f. a guide lever 14b are interlocked in the above sequence, and the lever 14b is turned in a direction to separate from a stopper 15 centering a shaft 24. A hand brake 21 is abutted with the outer periphery of the reel board 7 according to the turn of the lever 14b, and also, the guide post 14a of the torque limiter 14 provided at the terminal part of the lever 14b is moved to a position where tension is supplied, therefore, slackness due to the release of a tension post 19a is absorbed, and a back tension control servo mechanism is operated when the tape is fed in a reverse direction.</p> |
