<p>PURPOSE:To lessen the load on an electric cable and supporting fixtures by making one of paired spiral rods thinner than the other, on an electric cable with low windy noise prepared by winding paired two spiral rods on the outer circumference of an electric cable. CONSTITUTION:An electric cable with low with noise has a thick spiral rod 2 and a thinner spiral rod 3 which are wound in one set of two pieces adjacently on the outer circumference of an electric cable 1. In the case that one spiral rod of paired two spiral rods is made thinner than the other like this, the load on the electric cable and supporting fixtures are reduced by that amount. Since the effect of lowering corona hum sound is degraded when the outer diameter of the thinner spiral rod 3 is too small, the outer diameter is preferably made to be at least 1/2 of that of the thicker one.</p> |
