The laser sight is optically aligned in an alignment unit, causing a comparator (15) to be rotated, the output signal (16) from which activates a motor (17) via an amplifier (18) so that the signal remains zero. The motor alos rotates a camera (9) via a mechanical transmission, symbolised by a gear train (19,20). The camera rotation is monitored by a further comparator (21) which forms a difference signal (22) which with perfect mechanical transmission is of the same size as the difference signal from the first comparator, i.e. very close to zero. - The camera produces a picture of the target (23), very muck like a television picture, i.e. a signal sweeping in an angular direction, combined with a signal which indicates the picture light strength. In a further device (24) fault signals are added to the sweep movement, the device incorporating an oscillograph tube (25). This tube is combined with the laser sight, and the aimer of the weapon can no observe the target, either with the optical channel (5) or with the display. |
