The invention relates to a fuel distribution system comprising a distributing pipe system 38, which receives one or more grades of fuel at its individual inlet openings and which has a plurality of outlet openings. Each outlet opening is connected to the inlet port of each selector valve 13, 17 and 21, while the outlet ports of the selector valves are connected to the inlets of nozzle and hose units 23, 25, 27, 41. The system comprises a control unit 29, which at the point of installation can be programmed to reserve a certain hose/nozzle unit for the distribution of a certain pure grade or mixture. When the user selects a certain nozzle 41, the control unit 29 reacts by activating and controlling one or more flow control valves 5, 7 and the selector valve 13, 17, 21 connected to the selected nozzle for delivering the desired fuel grade(s) into the distributing pipe system 33, so that the desired quantity of the fuel grade connected to the selected nozzle is distributed under the influence of the closed-loop control system. <IMAGE>
