PURPOSE:To harmonize the expansion of the light distribution pattern in the horizontal direction and the necessary luminous intensity at the center section by applying the light distribution control function of a reflecting mirror. CONSTITUTION:A reflecting surface 2 is divided into multiple regions 2(1)-2(10) according to its light distribution control action. The reflecting regions 2(1), 2(2), 2(3), 2(9), 2(10) are formed as an aggregate of reflecting elements with a hyperbolic paraboloid shape, a light distribution pattern diffused widely in the horizontal direction is formed. The reflecting regions 2(4), 2(5), 2(6), 2(8) are formed as an aggregate of reflecting elements with an elliptic paraboloid shape and mainly contribute to the formation of the center section of the light distribution pattern. The reflecting region 2(7) is formed as an aggregate of reflecting elements with a hyperboloid shape of two sheets and contributes to the formation of the center section for the light distribution pattern of a running beam according to the position where a light source body is arranged, and it contributes to the formation of the cut line inclined against the horizontal line among cut lines peculiar to a passing beam for the light distribution pattern of the passing beam. |
