PURPOSE:To securely correcting words divided by line feed in a post processing at every row, to minimize the memory capacity for preserving necassary information up to the post processing end even when the character recognition processding and the post processing are processed in parallel, to reduce the wasteful processing of the divided word, and to improve the post processing efficiency. CONSTITUTION:The processing in a word unit is executed at every row from the head row, and the number of unprocessed characters following the corresponding word and a constant value are compared every time one word processing is over. When the number of unprocessed words is less than the constant value, the line processing during processing is ended, and the unprocessed word or the character of the finally processed word part as well as the unprocessed character is shifted to the head of the next line. |
