PURPOSE:To enhance the productivity of an LED lens array as well as to reduce the optical loss of the array by a method wherein a lens is directly bonded on the LED lens array using the light emission itself of LEDs constituting the array as a light source. CONSTITUTION:Light from P-type and N-type layers 3 and 4, which are formed by a semiconductor process and between which a P-N junction is formed, is led out through a window part of a mask 5 and a lens 7 is formed into a convex form on a protective layer 6, which is arranged on the above mask 5 for protecting a semiconductor, by an optical CVD method, which is performed on the basis of the light from the above layers 3 and 4, or a process of photopolymerization or the like. Thereby, an optical loss which is led out through the lens 7 is reduced. |
