PURPOSE:To provide a hot water supply device which prevents water condensed in a heat exchanger for a hot water supply device from flowing down into an improper spot, such as an electrical device-furnished section and hence discharges said condensed water to a safety spot in the case when said hot water supply device is used to feed water under the high humidity environment where the temperature is higher than the water supply temperature. CONSTITUTION:A heat exchanger 2 of a water supply device is provided with a drum bottom 3a, a combustion top 1a which constitutes a combustion section 1, a water receiving section 5 having a rising edge in its peripheral section, which are all mounted by way of seal gasket 6 between each section, and a porous material-made water passage 7 which is designed to drain condensed water collected in the water receiving section 5 in such a fashion that it may not drop in an improper part, such as electric equipment-furnished parts. It is, therefore, possible to provide a safety hot water supply device. |
