PURPOSE:To obtain a toner having superior color reproducibility, image retentivity, color transparency and stable electrostatic chargeability. CONSTITUTION:A toner contg. a dye represented by formula 1 and colored with this dye is used. In the formula 1, each of R1-R7 is H, 1-8C alkyl, halogenated alkyl, alkanol, alkoxy, etc., and a dye having methyl as R1, H as each of R2, R3 and R5-R7 and p-toluene as R4 is preferably used. The amt. of the dye contained is 0.1-15.0wt.%, preferably 1.0-6.0wt.% of the amt. of binder resin. |
