PURPOSE:To simultaneously display an orthogonal coordinate graph and polar coordinate graph on the same screen in a mixed state by the subject computer having a dot matrix type display means. CONSTITUTION:An arithmetic section 15 finds an essential coordinate Y which successively uses preset displaying ranges Xmin-Xmas as essential coordinates X on the basis of a functional equation [Y=F(X)] of an orthogonal coordinate system stored in an equation memory 13 and plots displaying data corresponding to the orthogonal coordinate data (X, Y) in a graph display buffer 16b. Then the section 15 finds the value (r) corresponding to a preset range (=0-2pi) of thetaon the basis of a functional equation [r=g(theta)] of a polar coordinate system stored in the memory 13 and plot displaying data in the buffer 16b together with the orthogonal coordinate data (X, Y) after transforming the polar coordinate data (r, theta) into two-dimensional coordinates (X, Y). |
