PURPOSE:To always segment picture information having a fixed size and position from a memory by enlarging and reducing pictures in accordance with the deviation between the positional information of the projecting image of a picture obtained from the memory and the positional information of a previously designated picture. CONSTITUTION:The picture information segmented from the preset storing position of a page memory 12 is transferred to a picture projecting section 15. The section 15 detects the size and position of a picture 42 to be read out on a slip 41 by extracting the projecting pictures 44 and 46 of the picture 42 in the X-and Y-axis directions. A picture enlarging, reducing, and editing section 16 detects the deviations of the detected position and size from a set position and size by comparing the positional information output of the projecting section 15 with the positional information previously given from a host computer 13. Then the section 16 performs enlargement, reduction, and edition so that the detected deviations can be corrected. |
