PURPOSE:To provide the process for constitution and production which improves the dimensional accuracy between and within the picture elements of color filters indispensable for color liquid crystal displays of TVs, computers, etc., and simultaneously simplifies stages at decreased man-hours and low costs. CONSTITUTION:A liquid adhesive is applied on a transparent base 101 and a heat shrinkable film 104 which is previously formed with color patterns is brought into contact with this adhesive and is heated, by which the heat shrinkable film 104 is smoothly shrunk with the liquid adhesive 109 as a lubricant. Extremely slight tension is applied to the heat shrinkable film in order to prevent the creasing by the shrinkage of the heat shrinkable film to shrink the color patterns having the poor accuracy, by which the picture elements having high accuracy are obtd. The adhesive is thereafter solidified. The color filters are thus obtd. |
