<p>PURPOSE:To provide the resistance value-regulating method for a chip resistor which can not only raise but also lower a resistance value, can regulate resistance values of many chip resistors at a time, brings about neither generation of noise nor deterioration in overload characteristics by the regulation of the resistance value, is satisfactory in workability to require no processing machine used exclusively for regulating the resistance value and therefore can obtain a low-cost chip resistor. CONSTITUTION:A chip resistor obtained by burning at a predetermined temperature is reheated at a predetermined temperature, which approximates to the predetermined burning temperature and is lower than the burning temperature, and a predetermined reheating temperature and reheating time are selected according as the resist ance value of the chip resistor is higher or lower than a reference resistance value and according to the resistance value of the chip resistor so that the resistance value of the chip resistor may approximate to the reference resistance value.</p> |
