PURPOSE:To always display the latest information, to remarkably reduce the burden of a host computer, and to reduce the number of using times of a communication channel so as to reduce the rental fee of the communication channel. CONSTITUTION:Update information sent from a display terminal 3 is received by means of the update information receiving means 7 of a host computer 1 and a data file 10 to be updated is updated by means of an information updating means 8. When the updating of the file 10 is completed, the completion is informed to the controller 2 from a completed state transmitting means 9. The completed state recognizing means 11 of the controller 2 discriminates the completed status and the control is shifted to a displaying state recognizing means 12. When the means 12 discriminates that the information must be redisplayed on display terminals 3, 5, and 6, a redisplaying information transmitting means 13 directly transmits the redisplaying information from the terminal 3 to the terminals 5 and 6 by using an inter-workstation communication function without passing through the host computer 1.
