PURPOSE: To obtain a flexographic printing plate which has good ink transfer property even when an alcohol-based or water-based flexographic printing ink is used, can be subjected to wash-off development with a usual org. solvent, and does not cause swelling. CONSTITUTION: The printing plate used is produced by forming a photopolymerizable printing element consisting of a photopolymerizable layer, elastomer layer and cover sheet layer on a supporting body. The photopolymerizable layer contains at least one elastomer binder, an ethylene type unsatd. monomer which can be polymerized with chemical active radiation, and a photoinitiator or photoinitiator system. The elastomer layer contains at least one kind of thermoplastic elastomer block copolymer and a polymer having a structural unit expressed by formula I. In formula I, R1 is H or CH3 , R2 and R3 are H or alkyl or aryl groups, R4 and R5 are H or alkyl groups, (m) and (n) are 0 to 10 satisfying (m)+(n)=2 to 20. |
