PURPOSE:To uniformize the brightness distribution of the light emitting surface of the light transmission type back light. CONSTITUTION:This back light is constituted by disposing reflection materials 3b and 3c on the surfaces of light transmission plates 1a and 1b constituted of two layers and disposing a reflection material 3a having glossy surfaces on both surfaces therebetween. The light of an optical path 1a having a large light quantity is selectively absorbed by the loss of multiple reflections in this way and, therefore, the brightness surface distribution of the light emitting surface 6 is uniformized. |
