PURPOSE:To operate a composed train, thrust of which drops upon phase shift due to train length error, with a most efficient phase. CONSTITUTION:In a composed train employing a self control linear synchronous motor wherein a thrust winding is laid on a track while field pole is mounted on a traveling train and a position detector for detecting the relative position between the thrust winding and the field pole is provided, phase detected through the position detector is corrected with a phase difference between the average phase of the entire composed train and the phase detected through the position detector or with the phase difference between the phase of speed electromotive force of the entire composed train and the phase detected through the position detector or the phase detected through the position detector is determined by the position of the central vehicle of the composed train and then the composed train is operated synchronously with the average phase thereof. |
