PURPOSE:To prevent mixture of air into a liquid tank owing to liquid injection processing. CONSTITUTION:The interior of a liquid tank IT is brought into a negative pressure state by means of a negative pressure generating means having a vacuum pump 17, and thereafter, liquid is injected through an injection nozzle 231 of the tank IT by means of an injection means comprising a nozzle 13. When the injection is completed, by releasing an open air communicating port 203 of the tank IT in a state that a connection state between the nozzle 13 and the injection nozzle 231, i.e., an injection state, is kept, air is prevented from mixture in the tank IT. By controlling injection of ink by the injection means according to a negative pressure in the tank, an injection amount can be stabilized. Further, liquid in an injection passage member, e.g. the nozzle 13, is removed by means of a removing means, e.g. a positive pressure source 23. |
