The invention relates to a jaw crusher. This crusher comprises two flanges (3) which bear rolling-contact bearings (4) in which an eccentric shaft (5) pivots. The flanges exhibit two planes, which converge preferably downwards, and which bear on two planes provided on a framework (2). The fitting and removal of the flanges (3) are thus facilitated. For maintenance, the desired alignment tolerance between the rolling-contact bearings (4) housed in the flanges (3) is obtained simply by making provision for modifying or replacing the said flanges in pairs, so that the convergent planes have the same tolerance with respect to the axis of rotation (8) of the rolling-contact bearings (4). <IMAGE>
