PURPOSE: To provide sufficient resistance to very high torques in a very small space. CONSTITUTION: Two worm screws 3, 4 of opposite screw pitches are formed in the output shaft 2 of a motor 1. Gear wheels 5, 6 located on opposite sides of the output shaft 2 mesh with the worm screws 3, 4. Shafts 7, 8 having respective eccentric crankpins 9, 11 are connected to the gear wheels 5, 6. The crankpins 9, 11 are connected to an element 12 via bearings 14, 15. Teeth 1 that mesh with teeth 17 formed on the outer periphery of a member 16 are formed on the inner periphery of the element. The member 16 is connected to an output shaft 18. When the output shaft 2 rotates, the crankpins 9, 11 rotate in the same direction and the element 12 makes a circular translational movement, whereby the output shaft 18 is rotated. |
