UNIVERSIAL SIGNAL TRANSCEIVING CIRCUIT

The method is for servicing transmission and reception of R2 multi- frequency compelled signal, dual tone multi-frequency signal, continuity test signal and audible signal tone using one universal signal tranceiver board assembly. The method includes the steps: (A) resetting the system; (B) initializing the system; (C) sending identity and initial operating state to a local service processors (1,2) and clearing execution flags; and (D) checking the state change of execution flags and mode message transmitted from the local service processors to execute the mode service selected by the local service processor.
