The mount comprises an upper flange (1) and a lower flange (2) which are connected via an elastic material (3). The upper flange (1) is extended by a coaxial rod (pin) (4) carrying a stop (5) extending under the lower flange (2). The elastic material (3) has an inner surface (12) and an outer surface (11) which is substantially conical, the mean inclination, with respect to the vertical, being of 30 degrees +-3, the surface by which the elastic material bears on the lower flange (2) being equal to 291 cm<2> +-30, the surface via which the elastic material (3) bears on the upper flange (1) being equal to 195 cm<2> +20, the material including, inside it, a conical reinforcing member (14) parallel to the surfaces via which the material bears on the flanges, the angle of which reinforcing member with respect to the vertical is approximately 43 DEG +1, and the thickness of which is 3 mm + 0.1, and this reinforcing member is situated substantially 3/7 of the distance between the two surfaces via which the flanges bear, measured from the upper flange, the elastic element (3) being made of rubber with a bulk modulus of 50 daN/cm<2> +-5, the external conical surface of the material exhibiting a projection (15) in the extension of the reinforcing member. <IMAGE>
