PURPOSE:To obtain a waveform equalizer of an easy constitution and a high performance by using a neural net. CONSTITUTION:This device is the wave equalizer using a neutral net N in which means DL which delay a deteriorated digital signal from a transmission reproducing system are combined with plural converting systems U having non-linear input and output characteristics by independent weight W. The digital signal which is hourly shifted is inputted to the neural net N having the weight of a variable, and the weight corresponding to the characteristic of the transmission reproducing system is preliminarily learned. A signal processor WE having the specified weight, which is equivalent to the neutral net N is constituted based on the learned result, and the deteriorated digital signal from the transmission reproducing system is outputted after operated for the waveform equalization in a real time.
