PURPOSE:To reduce the cost of a diazo photosensitive material for a black image by using alkylresorcin as a coupler. CONSTITUTION:A compound represented by the general formula (where R is 1- 8C alkyl) is used as a coupler to form a two-component type photosensitive material, or a one-component type photosensitive material is developed with a coupler represented by the formula. Thus, a copying material with high coupling reactivity and an image with a high color tone, high density and high stability are obtd. at a lower cost as compared to a case using fluoroglucin. Preferable alkylresorcin is 1- isopropyl-2,4-dihydroxygenzole, 1-t-butyl-2,6-dihydroxylbenzole, 1-isopropyl-3,5- dihydroxybenzole, 1-t-butyl-3,5-dihydroxybenzde, 1-methyl-3,5-dihydroxybenzole or the like. |
