PURPOSE:To execute highly multiplexed and highly precise frequency multiplex optical communication of various modulation system through simple configuration in a frequency multiplex optical communication system. CONSTITUTION:By superimposing the optical signals of low frequency signals generated separately in accordance with each data input terminal 1-i (i=1, 2...n) respectively on a data optical signal, and inputting optical signals multiplexed through an optical coupler 8 to a control signal generator 4 consisting of a periodically transmissive type filter 10, band pass filter 13-i, and asynchronous detectors 14-i, 15-i, each low frequency signal is controlled so as not to deviate from reference light on the basis of the periodically transmissive type filter 10, and the frequency interval of each optical signal is stabilized. |
