<p>PURPOSE:To efficiently extract an org. fragrant component by wetting dried aloeswood granules with an extraction accelerator, putting the granules into a high-pressure vessel, forcing CO2 in a supercritical state into the vessel, and leaving the vessel standing for a specified time. CONSTITUTION:Dried aloeswood granules are wetted with at least one extraction accelerator selected from ethyl alcohol, n-butyl alcohol, and ethyl ether and put into a high-pressure vessel; while the vessel is being heated, CO2 in a supercritical state is forced into the vessel and the vessel is left standing for a specified time; then, the supercritical CO2 gas contg. a fragrant component of aloeswood is sent to a pressure-reducing device, where the pressure of the gas phase is reduced to near the triple point of CO2; the gas is sent to a hermetically closed separating vessel, where CO2 is separated and removed to give a mixture of the extraction accelerator with the fragrant component; and the accelerator is removed from the mixture to give the fragrant component.</p> |
