<p>PURPOSE:To efficiently transmit different kinds of information signals by transmitting a digital information signal by dividing it into the packets of a prescribed amount of information for every same kind and inserting a packet identification signal into every packet. CONSTITUTION:The packet format processing circuit 11 of a base station reads information data written in a buffer memory 11a by the unit of a prescribed number of bytes, and supplies it to a packet dividing means 11b, and divides it into the packets. Next, the packet identification signal consisting of the total number of the packets of the same kind and packet numbers in the same kind is inserted into the PAGE of a header by an identification signal inserting means 11c. A repeater station having received the information data puts plural packets in the order of the packet numbers included in PAGE, and decodes them as one package. Thus, a communication line can be efficiently used as preventing the different signals from being mixed.</p> |
