A driving system for decreasing ripples in the output torque of a reluctance-type motor, wherein, during the operation of a motor (3), a data selecting-and-reading unit (51) decodes the output of an analog-to-digital converter (18a), selects a memory corresponding to the command exciting current outputted by a power control circuit among memories (51a through 51e), sequentially reads torque ripple data from the selected memory according to the address output of an address counter (57) which is updated every time an output pulse is sent out of a shaft encoder (6), and supplies the data to a power control circuit (61) through a digital-to-analog converter (59). The power control circuit corrects the command exciting current by using the torque ripple data and controls the motor with the corrected command exciting current to eliminate the ripples from the motor output torque. <IMAGE> |
