摘要

PURPOSE:To prevent a sheet of paper from inutilely scrapping it in reducing time and trouble for a paper removing job at time of the error occurrence of paper jamming or the like by installing a jam detector and two drive motors corresponding to both printing and outputting areas. CONSTITUTION:Each roller R1 or R2 in a printing area Z1 or outputting area Z2 is driven by a separate motor M1 or M2, and a sensor S1 or S2 detecting the passage of paper is set up in each terminal position of routes PT1, PT2 in each area. When a jam position is within the outputting area Z2, motors M1 and M2 driving the roller R1 in the printing area Z1 and the roller R2 in the outputting area Z2 are stopped, and a jam display takes place as an error message. When the jam position is within the printing area Z1, the motor M1 is stopped but the motor M2 is kept driven intact, and at a time when paper passing signal values of these paper sensors S1, S2 are accorded with each other, the drive motor M2 in the outputting area is stopped.
