PURPOSE:To offer the voice decoding device which prevents an abnormal sound from being generated at the time of a break of a digital voice signal when the digital voice signal which is compressed and encoded is decoded. CONSTITUTION:If a signal break detecting circuit 3 detects the break of the digital voice signal while a voice decoding circuit 1 decodes the digital voice signal inputted through a switch circuit 5, a switch circuit 5 is switched in the signal break period to supply a dummy voice pattern from a dummy voice pattern generating circuit 4 to the voice decoding circuit 1. |
