PURPOSE:To provide an additive which improves both dyeing density for a sublimate type thermal recording material and preservability of an image. CONSTITUTION:An additive for a sublimate type thermal recording material which has an urethane compound expressed by a general formula (1) (in the formula R1, R4 express hydrogen or fatty or aromatic hydrocarbon group, R2, R3 express alkylene group or allylene group, X, Y express ester group or ether group, I, m express 0-5 integer and (a number of CS of R2 or R3)X(I or m)+(a number of CS of R1 or R4) <=18, and A expresses 1-18C alkylene group or allylene group) as an effective constituent. |
