PURPOSE:To constitute the microcomputer so that an address in which a program is being executed can be confirmed from the outside, a failure part in a microcomputer can be investigated easily thereby, and also, a test pattern itself can be improved easily. CONSTITUTION:In the microcomputer in which a program memory 3 is contained, it is provided with a register 2 of a PROM structure for adding data of (m) bits to an arbitrary address of a program memory 3, a write control circuit 1 for controlling write to the register 2 by a write control signal from the outside, and a program counter 4 for instructing an address of the program memory 5 and the register 2, and has a function for outputting data of (m) bits in the register 2 instructed by a program counter 4. |
