PURPOSE:To perform composite-copying from a lot of document groups at a high speed. CONSTITUTION:In the case of composite copying of images on two pages among the document groups successively fed by an automatic document feeder (RDH) on one page of a transfer paper, the image on every other page (odd numbered page) among the document groups is copied on only the 1st area of the transfer paper with keeping a 1st process until the document comes back to where it started, and thereafter, the process is switched to a 2nd process, and each document among the document groups coming back to where started is successively fed by the RDH again, and then, the document image on each page(even numbered page) which is not copied at the stage of the 1st process is successively copied on the 2nd area of each transfer paper having the 1st area where the image has been already copied. Thus, it is enough to switch the process mode once, so that a composite copying speed can be increased. |
