PURPOSE: To easily perform addition of a hot fluid synthetic resin for coating mineral materials at a low cost by producing the fluid synthetic resin by fusing a solid synthetic resin immediately before the addition, enabling a rapid change in a type of the synthetic resin to be treated, thereby using a self-reacting synthetic resin. CONSTITUTION: A resin in a flake state or the like is charged into a measuring screw 1, carried to a biaxial screw 2 heated to about 120 to 150 deg.C, wherein heat transmission is conducted to the material to be fused, then the hot fluid resin flows into a downstream intermediate tank 3 from the biaxial screw 2. The molten liquid is fed into a measuring cylinder 4 by a piston pump 8 to measure a quantity required for one mixer batch. Quartz sand to be coated is previously fed in a mixer 5 and heated to about 70 to 120 deg.C, where the molten resin is supplied immediately before mixing and mixed with quartz sand for about 2 to 3 minutes.
