<p>PURPOSE: To provide a multi-way valve which can wash filter elements in the backwash method, close a medium source and can have large flow area, simple structure and low costs. CONSTITUTION: An L-shaped flow passage is formed in a rotatable spherical worm 23. More than three ports A, B and C are provided at a valve casing 21 at a connection part with a rotary worm, and a passage for the worm is selectively made to communicate to these ports. The rotation axial line of this worm is determined by a hole of the casing. A filter element 27 is mounted in the L-shaped flow passage in the worm. Sealed communication is enabled by the L-shaped flow passage of two worms of the port of the valve casing, and the medium can not flow into a cavity in a valve and so on.</p> |
