PURPOSE:To control the hydraulic pressure of a release element independently in an optimum manner with control over this release element at time of speed shifting, and check any possible shift shock as well as to improve the extent of releasing speed. CONSTITUTION:At time of shifting from 2 to 3 speeds, a band brake B/B is set down to a release element, and a shift controller controls this release element for releasing. Hydraulic pressure PL in the band brake B/B as the release element is controlled so as to make it go down up to a point (POP+alpha) equivalent to a required clamping capacity from a shift start (t1), namely, (t1-t2). The controller sets a releasing tilt RAMP1 or releasing pressure range from the hydraulic state concerned and thereby it controls the hydraulic pressure PL of the element B/B so as to release it slowly at the point equivalent to the required clamping pacity, namely, (t2-t3). |
