PURPOSE:To improve the certainty of a check on a backup memory by generating a flag where the contents of all areas of the memory are reflected and deciding it when the power source is turned on. CONSTITUTION:It is decided whether or not the backed-up memory is adequate by calculating the hash total of all memory data and this is used as the flag. The parity of the memory data in a RAM 13 in the backup state is stored previously in a parity RAM 14. After the power source is turned on, it is confirmed whether the flag and parity match those in the backup state and whether or not the backed-up memory is adequate is decided over the entire memory area. |
